This gives me the sads. But I am still hopeful. Not about the show, but about Maura Tierney. If you didn’t know, she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. But while her doctors are confident with the outcome of her treatment, she has still decided to withdraw from the new NBC television series “Parenthood” in order to put her health first. She has in fact filmed a pilot episode for the series and it was scheduled to be played this month. However, when Maura discovered a lump in her breast in July, production never continued on the show. ABC will premiere a new medical show called “Mercy” instead. Best of luck to you Maura! We wish you a speedy recovery!
