And it wasn’t for her terrible fashion sense. Even if she has made our eyes bleed on a regular basis!

During last Sunday’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” she made some less than sensitive (or sensible) comments regarding the behavior of a transgender dancer. Now, I have to admit that the dancer in question (who’s name is Leiomy) does act like a tantrum throwing two year old on a pretty regular basis. However, Lil Mama had to know she would piss off the LGBT community when she said -

“Leiomy, come on. Your behavior … it’s unacceptable … You were born a man and you are becoming a woman. If you’re going to become a woman, act like a lady … It gets too crazy and it gets confusing.”

WOW – take foot and promptly insert in mouth.

I watched this episode (because I am a dance show ADDICT) and I remember looking at my husband SHOCKED that she would say that to her. You should have seen Leiomy’s face! It was PRICELESS. A total “Oh no you didn’t” moment. I knew this was going to haunt Lil Mama.. and well it should.

Leiomy being a baby has NOTHING to do with her gender – I have a feeling that even her pre-op personality was a smidge dramatic.

“I would like to clarify anything that was misunderstood from Sunday’s show. My remarks were never meant to be disrespectful regarding Leiomy’s gender nor offensive to the LGBT community, which has been a community that has supported me in all my endeavors. However, in hindsight, I recognize that my words may have come across as hurtful. I spoke with her privately after the taping to express that it was not my intent to offend her or any member of the transgender community and that I still live for Vogue Evolution.”

Nice try deary – I can’t WAIT to see this week’s show!
